Big Bang′s Taeyang Stars in First Solo Commercial in Japan
Big Bang′s Taeyang will be starring in his first solo commercial in Japan.
The singer was recently chosen as the visual artist character image for the Japan Street Dance Association (JSDA).
JSDA came to choose Taeyang as its model due to his global popularity, seeing how Taeyang recently participated in a world tour with his group to clear the way for more global promotions to come.
The commercial is the first in the country to use high-speed motion control effects, and they were used effectively at the shoot held in Tokyo in April to capture Taeyang′s powerful dance moves.
After his first solo commercial shoot, Taeyang said, "I′m very happy, and I want to be an inspiration to as many people as possible through song and dance. I hope I will be able to move hearts with my dances."
The new JSDA commercial starring Taeyang will be aired from May 13 across the country, and large billboard ads will be set up in Tokyo′s Sibuya, Nagoya′s Nagoya and Sakae, as well as Osaka′s Shinsaibashi and Ebisubashi.
Many more ads will be posted on websites, magazines and trucks.
