Oh Jong Hyuk was Down in the Dumps because of Fin.K.L
Before FT Island or CN Blue, Click-B existed as the flower boy band in the late 1990’s.
Oh Jong Hyuk, one of the former Click-B members, appeared on MBC’s Radio Star on April 3 to talk about his experience as an idol boy band and how the band suffered because of its label mate, Fin.K.L, which included Lee Hyori, Sung Yuri, Lee Jin, and Ock Joo Hyun.
“After Click-B finished its first album promotions, we attended an award ceremony,” explained Oh Jong Hyuk. “All the members and I were excited, wondering if we would be able to receive a rookie award.”
But their anticipation bubble was severely popped when the Click-B members realized their sole purpose at the award ceremony was to give bouquets to Fin.K.L, who was actually the one winning an award.
“We even received make up and got dressed up, but we didn’t even stand on stage to deliver the flowers. We just handed it to the Fin.K.L members while they were sitting in their seats.”
Feeling down in the dumps, Oh Jong Hyuk continued that Click-B’s manager took them to the Han River and ate cup noodles while sitting in Fin.K.L’s van.
“I was really sad,” said Oh Jong Hyuk. “While we were eating cup noodles, someone was eating at an expensive buffet… (after winning an award)”
Meanwhile, Oh Jong Hyuk was recently discharged from the marines. He is currently acting in the musical, Those Days.
