Shin Se Kyung Chosen as a Model for a Coffee Chain
Shin Se Kyung, who has risen as a blue chip in the advertisement industry, by being chosen has a model for all sorts of products, including underwear, mobile phones, cosmetics, chicken franchises, soju and other beverage, has recently reconfirmed her status as the queen of ads industry by being selected as a model for a coffee chain.
A rep from the actress’s agency, Namoo Actors, stated on February 6, “Shin Se Kyung who has been active in various sectors including singing, entertainment, TV commercials as well as acting, has signed an exclusive contract with Dal.Komm Coffee brand, which has a concept of combining coffee with music.”
An official behind Dal.Komm Coffee said, “We chose Shin Se Kyung because her image as a representative of trendiness and sweetness matches well with the image of Dal.Komm Coffee, which has been opening up a new trend of coffee chains.”
The official continued, “We believe Dal.Komm Coffee, which delivers differentiated music that you can feel with five senses, and Shin Se Kyung who is deeply connected to music despite being an actress, have something in common and that commonality played a role in our selection.”
Shin Se Kyung made a debut in the showbiz as a poster model for Seo Taiji’s 1998 album Take 5 and participated in the original sound track of her movie, Hindsight. She also showed off her singing ability while making a guest appearance on MBC’s Infinity Challenge.
Han Jin Woo, director of Danal Entertainment, which operates Dal.Komm Coffee, said, “We are planning to actively work on various marketing strategies along with our new face Shin Se Kyung to take a root as a new powerhouse in the coffee franchise market.”
Meanwhile, Shin Se Kyung, who was well-received for her role in SBS hit drama A Tree with Deep Roots, has been currently filming Fashion King, which is set to premiere March.
