Se7en’s comeback single When I Can’t Sing has been heating up the music charts since it was released on February 1, but it appears the Park Jin Young-produced song was originally supposed to be included in singer Son Ho Young’s album.

A video clip entitled “20110331-Son Ho Young-When I Can’t Sing” from an MBC program that aired last year was uploaded onto YouTube on January 29, and fans may be surprised to learn that the “When I Can’t Sing” in the title is indeed the song that Se7en recently released for his comeback.

Son was a guest on an episode of MBC’s Starry Night Memories, broadcast on March 31 of last year, where he sang a snippet of the song that he said was composed by Park Jin Young and would be included in his forthcoming album to be released a few months after the show′s broadcast.

We love Se7en′s new(?) song, but we can′t help but wonder why it didn′t make Son′s album.

Check out the clip for yourself below and let us know who you think sang it better!
