Hyun Young, who was summarily indicted on charges of propofol abuse, issued an official apology.

Hyun Young′s agency Koen Stars stated through an official press release on March 13, "First we apologize for the bad news. We wish to emphasize again that the investigation looked into whether doctors were abusing propofol-related prescriptions and whether the drug was being used illegally. It reaches into all areas in the medical realm."

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors′ Office announced that "Hyun Young received her injections from only one hospital, and she received the least in number compared to the other actresses. We also confirmed that she had stopped using the drug in December 2011, as she had said, and was no longer under its influence."

The agency, however, still apologized for her causing trouble as a public figure.

"We are sorry to hear that even treatment she received under a doctor′s prescription has yielded such results, but we apologize on being involved in such a shameful incident and causing concern among many," it said.

It then finished, "We sincerely apologize for worrying those who have loved Hyun Young so much. She will act more carefully as a public figure in the future."

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors′ Office indicted Park Si Yeon, Lee Seung Yeon and Jang Mi In Ae on March 13 for the abuse of propofol.
