Kim Min Hee Brings the Mystery for ′Train′
Kim Min Hee transformed into a mysterious woman for her big screen comeback piece Train. Kim will be starring in director Byun Young Joo′s Train with Lee Sun Gyun and Jo Sung Ha.
In the stills revealed by the film′s production company on January 29, Kim stands between Lee and Jo with a mysterious air, heightening anticipation for the atmosphere of the film.
Train will premiere early March, and is based on the novel of the same title by Japan′s most revered mystery writer Miyuki Miyabe. The film will tell of the mystery surrounding the fiancee who disappeared after receiving a phone call (Kim Min Hee), the man who sets out to find her (Lee Sun Gyun) and a former detective (Jo Sung Ha).
The men soon find out that everything about the fiancee was false, and the plot twists around the shocking mystery. As the characters of the three are similar to the roles Son Ye Jin, Go Soo and Han Seok Gyu took on for the film White Night, many are looking forward to see Kim Min Hee become the next Son Ye Jin and show off a beautiful and dark charisma.
Director Byun, who is returning to the big screen for the first time in eight years with Train, stated, "The acting that the three actors performed was the biggest force that drove Train. I was surprised by how they threw all of their talent into Train."
Kim showed her confidence in the director, saying, "I can trust everything director Byun Young Joo says. I didn′t even check the monitors when the director said it was okay."
