f(x) Will Be First K-Pop Idol Group to Play SXSW

F(x) will be performing at the world’s largest music festival, South by Southwest (SXSW), in Austin, Texas.

On March 8, f(x) will be joining SXSW for K-Pop Night Out, showcasing Korean music along with other Korean artists including No Brain, Gukkasten, Galaxy Express, The Geeks, Jung Cha Sik, and Lee Seung Yeol.

SXSW Music annually features more than 2,500 performers across over 100 venues and has grown continually since its launch in 1987.

f(x) Will Be First K-Pop Idol Group to Play SXSW

Several indie bands have played SXSW before, including Galaxy Express and Crying Nut, but f(x) will be the first K-Pop group to join the festival, which features a hugely diverse lineup, including rock, hip-hop and jazz.
