Shinhwa′s 15th Anniversary Concert Sells Out in Five Minutes

The group, which is the longest running idol group in Korea, will be holding its 15th anniversary concert titled The Legend Continues from March 16-17 in Seoul. Ticket booking for the concerts started on February 13, and sold out just five minutes after tickets were made available.

Though the ticket site had prepared all of its servers for the war to come, it still went down when over 300,000 people attempted to access the site at the same time. The servers went down and were restored again and again until the 25,000 seats were sold out in virtually five minutes.

Fans who weren′t able to get tickets soon bombarded the agencies, ticket site and fansites with inquiries and requests for more.

The CJ E&M concert team in charge of Shinhwa′s 15th anniversary concert told enews on February 14, "CJ E&M will be collaborating again with the group for the 15th anniversary concert, following the previous collaboration in 2012 for Shinhwa′s 14th anniversary comeback concert. The concert is being designed in a grand scale that will contain the full extent of Shinhwa′s brand power."
