Jung Hyung Don′s ′Gangbuk Cool Guy′ Tops Gaon Chart′s Download Chart

Jung Hyung Don′s Gangbuk Cool Guy, a song written by Park Myung Soo for Infinity Challenge′s How Is It special, topped the Gaon Chart′s download chart for the third week of January.

According to Gaon Chart on January 17, Gangbuk Cool Guy came out on top with 386,986 downloads. No. 2 went to Yoo Jae Suk′s Grasshopper World, which came from the same Infinity Challenge project.

No. 3 and no. 4 went to Baek Ji Young′s Hate It with 242,883 downloads and Girls′ Generation (SNSD)′s I Got a Boy with 242,803. Baek Ji Young fell one rank, while SNSD slipped down three.

The tracks were followed by more Infinity Challenge numbers, with Haha′s Sexy boy at no. 5 (232,986), Gil′s You Look Like My Mom on no. 7 (162,286), Jung Joon Ha′s I Love You on no. 8 (143,910) and Noh Hong Chul′s Noh Garcia on no. 9 (124,115). With this all six tracks from the broadcast managed to make it into the top 10, with a total of 1,298,484 downloads.

One rep from Gaon Chart said about the trend, "The mix of variety and popular comedians with music has been bringing on a new wave. The songs also managed to appear on top thanks to the way the public has become more receptive of diversity."

The Korea Entertainment Producer′s Association meanwhile criticized Infinity Challenge for taking over the charts.
