Super Junior Wins the Grand Prize at the ′Golden Disc Awards′
Super Junior won a total of three awards at this year′s Golden Disc Awards, including the most coveted Grand Prize.
The group won the Grand Prize at the 27th Golden Disc Awards held on January 15 (local time) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It also won two more awards, one of them being the MSN Southeast Asia Award.
B2ST managed to win a Bonsang and the jTBC Best Artist Award for its album Midnight Sun, while CN Blue won a Bonsang and Popular Star in Malaysia Award, and SHINee won a Bonsang and a Popularity Award. Infinite also managed to win a Bonsang with a Best Group Performance Award and Kara won a Bonsang and a Popularity Award with SHINee.
4minute, FT Island and B1A4 won Bonsangs, EXO and Juniel won Rookie Awards, Trouble Maker′s Hyuna and Hyun Seung won the Best Dance Performance Award and FNC Entertainment rep Han Seong Ho won a Producer Award.
The day′s ceremony awarded strong players in album sales, and the Golden Disc Awards ceremony for online music downloads will be held on January 16 in the same location. Both ceremonies will air through jTBC on January 19.
