Go Ara Makes Singing Debut
Go Ara is debuting as a singer with her digital single Now!, which is expected to showcase Go’s unique charms.
The single, which contains three songs sung by Jun (Go Ara) in the upcoming movie PaPa, were released on January 9, via an array of online music sites.
The single was produced by famed songwriter Kim Hyung Suk, who is the music director of the movie, and its songs are reportedly well-fitted to the family comedy movie.
Since the movie covers the story of Jun, who auditions in the States, the songs′ lyrics are written in English, and singer J.ae took part in writing the lyrics.
The title track Now! is characterized with an exquisite harmony between cheerful beats with sweet melody, and a modern rock and pop feel, while Go’s refreshing voice heightens the lovely mood of the song.
Little Girl Dreams which condenses Jun’s success story filled with ups and downs into a song, describes a girl’s earnest desire to realize her dream.
The single also includes another version of Now!, which was arranged to evoke warmth and serenity. The single will show Go’s different side while intensifying expectations for the film.
Meanwhile, PaPa is family-oriented comedy covering the story of Chun Seop (Park Yong Woo), who goes to the States to look for an top star who fled to the country but ends up becoming an illegal alien, and Jun (Go Ara), who needs a legal guardian to live together with her younger siblings. The movie is set for release on February 2.
