Where Will Trouble Maker be Going Next?
Trouble Maker wrapped up its month of promotional activities with one last performance on the January 8 broadcast of SBS’ Inkigayo.
The unit exited the scene with flying colors as it won its first no. 1 rank on a main channel, winning the Mutizen Song on the day’s broadcast of Inkigayo.
Although this was its first win in a main channel, it previously topped Mnet’s M Countdown charts for three weeks in a row, winning the Triple Crown, and also came in first on jTBC’s Music On Top.
So now that official promotions are over, where will Trouble Maker be going next?
A rep for Trouble Maker told enews on January 9, “There are no plans [for future promotions]. As Trouble Maker was an experimental unit group, there are no specific plans for its future activities. Hyuna and Jang Hyun Seung will be doing their best in their respective groups.”
Hyuna will be returning as a member of 4minute sometime between late January and early February, while Jang Hyun Seung will be touring the world from February with his group B2ST in its first world tour, the Beautiful Show. There are no special stages planned for Trouble Maker in the Beautiful Show.
Although Trouble Maker was continuously embroiled in censorship controversies with its shocking performances, it was mostly received favorably as a unit that reaffirmed the potential and star quality of members Hyuna and Jang Hyun Seung.
