Ahn Young Mi Sheds Tears on ‘Comedy Big League’
Ahn Young Mi couldn’t hold back her tears during the recent broadcast of tvN’s comedy program Comedy Big League.
In the January 7 broadcast of Comedy Big League, Ahn and her team competed in the league’s third round. Americano, comprised of members Ahn Young Mi, Kim Mi Ryo and Jung Juri, came in second place for the day’s round and received a great round of applause from its audience.
Before the results were out, however, Ahn didn’t seem too confident. She said after her performance, “I don’t think we’ll be making it into the top five today.”
It turned out she was wrong, as Americano landed safely on no. 2. At this, Ahn burst into tears, saying, “I wasn’t expecting this to happen today… I’m so happy.”
Through her Me2Day after the broadcast, Ahn said, “My God Gandhi gave us the honor of second place,” showing her happiness with a statement that would’ve come from the character she plays in her sketch for the show, the Gandhi worshipping teenage delinquent.
Americano is currently leading the race with 11 points, even surpassing the winning team of the show’s previous season, Small Spring.
