Melon has unveiled the ten biggest K-Pop songs of 2012.

The year-end compilation chart, released on January 8, showed that 2012 YG’s artists, SISTAR and Busker Busker dominated 2012.

Unsurprisingly, Psy’s Gangnam Style came in at number one on Melon’s top ten chart with the song having lodged a record six straight weeks at number one on Melon’s weekly chart. Reflecting SISTAR’s arguable ascent into the top tier of K-Pop’s girl groups, the group’s Alone and Loving U were both in number two and number four.

Busker Busker recorded the most number of songs on the top ten with Cherry Blossom Ending, If You Really Love Me and First Love coming in at number three, seven and ten respectively.

Other YG artists who made the cut in the top ten were Big Bang with Fantastic Baby in number five and 2NE1’s I Love You in number 6.

That left only two remaining spots in the top ten which went to Ailee’s Heaven at number eight and Seo In Guk and Jung Eun Ji’s cover, All For You, in number nine.
