While we chose to list some of our favorite dragon picks for the Year of the Dragon, some netizens decided it would be fun to actually pitch the dragons born in the year 1988 against each other in a poll to choose the best dragon of them all.

The community portal website DC Inside held a poll from December 27 to January 3 titled ‘Which dragon celebrity born in 1988 are you looking forward to seeing in 2012?’

The winner? Super Junior’s Kyuhyun.

TVXQ’s Max Changmin followed with 3,419 votes (28 percent). When he made his debut, he was loved for being the cute youngest member of TVXQ, but with his tall height, neat looks and his explosive vocals, he’s now gathering popularity as a chic male figure. He’s also much favored by netizens for his polite attitude.

Third place went to John Park, with 1,514 votes (12.4 percent). John Park made his debut with Mnet’s Superstar K2 in 2010, and with his vocal skills, handsome looks, neat manners and academic ability, he also managed to become a superstar although he was the runner-up of the competition. He released his first digital single in December, and plans to release his official debut album in January.

MBLAQ’s Lee Joon, Big Bang’s G-Dragon and Taeyang, and singer Younha followed - but do you think they should have led? Let us know in the comments below!
