Go Ara plays the role of Yoo Ji Won, a pretty pole vaulter on the national team who possesses both looks and skills - something that the young actress must be used to, as she′s been attracting attention for her natural acting with co-star Kim Myung Min and recently ranked 12th on the ‘The Annual Independent Critics List of the 100 Most Beautiful Faces’ presented by American film site, TC Candler.

When asked how she felt about placing on the list, Go Ara said, “I’m not sure if it has credibility.”

"I think it′s an overestimation. But I’m thankful that people see me as pretty,” she added.

Go Ara also shared, “I was so excited that I couldn’t sleep well last night. I’ve learned a lot and realized acting is fun during the filming [of the movie].”

“I cried so much [watching the movie] that I feel dizzy. [The movie] still lingers in my mind,” she added.

The film Pacemaker sheds lights on pacemakers, who are often hidden behind the honor of marathon medalists, as they′re there strictly to set the pace, not to win a marathon. It will hit the theaters on January 19.
