‘Talk Club Actors’ to Replace ‘Come to Play’

MBC has decided on its new show to take the spot vacated by Come to Play.

After recently cancelling Come to Play, which was one of Korea’s longest running variety shows, MBC has greenlit Talk Club Actors to take over the late night Monday night time slot.

The new talk show will feature a slew of actors who will discuss their lives and professions in a talk show format.

Though initial reports had said actresses Kim Jung Nan, Song Sun Mi and Go Eun Ah had been selected as the new show’s MCs, MBC later stepped forward to say the MCs had not yet been officially cast.

The new show will premiere on January 14 at 11:15 p.m. (KST) on MBC.

As for Come to Play, the show’s MC Kim Won Hee tweeted a photo on December 26 showing the show’s cast including Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Na Young, Jay Park, Kwon Oh Joong, and Super Junior’s Eunhyuk saying their bittersweet farewell to viewers outside after their final recording and holding up a sign that read, ′To all our viewers! We won’t forget you~ Thank you <3.′
