The King of Dramas never fails to give us another history lesson with its titles.

‘Crossing the Rubicon’ refers to Julius Caesar’s act of rebellion as he sent his army across the river, starting the Great Roman Civil War in 49 BC.

The phrase can also mean ‘a point of no return,’ and yes, just as the title says, our characters crossed the point of no return in many ways than one.

Anthony sits on his bed as well, and thinks back on what happened earlier that night.

Surprise!

When Go Eun was making her confession, Anthony was still on the rooftop and heard everything.

Thoughts

Love is in the air~

Lee Go Eun has finally broken through Anthony’s thick wall! And about time. We were getting a bit impatient with the lack of love between the two.

What a great episode - both of our lead characters realized that they liked each other. And especially Anthony, who was against the idea of the hero giving up his dreams for the girl he loves, learned firsthand that it is possible for that situation to happen.

Now we’re just going to sit back with popcorn and wait for the lovey dovey moments to begin.

[Recap: The King of Dramas] Episode 15 – We Crossed the Rubicon River

Although, Anthony’s sight problem is really bothering us.
He’s not really going to go blind right?

From our predictions, it’s either from all the pills he takes or perhaps something hereditary from his mother, but it really doesn’t matter what the cause is because either one will be devastating.

Knowing what happened to Park Shin Yang at the end of Sign, written by Jang Hang Joon, who is writing The King of Dramas, we have this small certainty that Anthony will go blind at the end of this series. A tragic twist to the king, but not every drama can end with a happy ending right?

Or maybe this will become a ‘love conquers all, even blindness’ drama with Go Eun staying by his side and helping him continue to run World Productions.

[Recap: The King of Dramas] Episode 15 – We Crossed the Rubicon River

The drama has taken an interesting turn with only three more episodes left
It seems like Jin Wan and Jaekuk Productions have disappeared and there are no real conflicts anymore except the ongoing love triangle between Go Eun, Mina, and Anthony.

But with all the complications that appeared in the first several episodes, we’re not complaining. It still does provoke our curiosity to know what happens to Jin Wan and the not-so-evil Chairman-Daddy.

But aside from all the company problems and Anthony’s blindness, we are looking forward to the development of Hyun Min’s crush on Mina. It seems like there is going to be one and we’re so excited to see how Hyun Min pulls this one off and how Mina will react to it.
