Lee Gi Kwang in a Wheelchair
The bad thing about being an idol group member: Sometimes you can’t take time off even when you’re injured. Lee Gi Kwang actually had to move around in a wheelchair during the United Cube in Brazil concert.
The December 29 broadcast of Mnet’s Boom the K-Pop will cover the United Cube Concert which took place in Brazil on December 13.
Lee, who stretched a tendon in his right ankle while exercising after a shoot of MBC’s Me Too, Flower! on December 10, headed over to Brazil with a semi-cast on his leg.
The preview video for the program showed Lee looking on at the stage in a wheelchair, making the program’s viewers curious whether he was able to stand onstage with his members in such a state.
Netizens who got to see the preview left comments such as, “He said he was okay, and he’s always in a wheelchair or being carried by someone. I feel bad,” “He did make it to the stage, right?” and “Hope the world tour goes well.”
B2ST’s world tour will take place in 2012, starting with performances in Seoul in February and continuing on through Asia, Britain, Spain, Germany, the Americas and Canada, for a total of 35 performances in 21 cities, 14 countries.
