The 10-year-old girl will make a guest appearance for The Vocalist concert, to be held on December 31 in Seoul. The concert is being led by Bobby Kim and Gummy, who have earned a lot of popularity for their appearances in MBC’s I Am A Singer along with the composer, music director and guitarist Son Mu Hyeon, and hit-maker Kim Hyeong Seok.

During the preliminary round of the audition show, Son Ye Rim sang I Hope It Would Be That Way Now originally sung by veteran singer Cho Young Pil, and was well received by judges including Lee Seung Chul, Jung Yeop, and Psy.

At the time, Lee gave the girl high praise by saying, “She’s young but is full of musical talent.”

One noteworthy thing is that Son Mu Hyeon, who is in charge of musical performance of the concert, is the elder brother of Son Ye Rim’s late father. Son Ye Rim’s performance is expected to heat up the stage with the joint performance from the uncle and niece.

Meanwhile, the musicians of The Vocalist, which is entering its third year, finished its performances in Daegu and Gwangju on a high note with the last concert left for Seoul.
