Over 10,000 Come to See Lee Joon Gi on His Japan Fan Meet Tour
Lee Joon Gi has spent some meaningful time with his fans in Japan this winter.
Lee Joon Gi kicked off his Japan fan meet tour on December 4 in Nagoya before moving on to Osaka on December 5 and Yokohama on December 10.
Marking his first fan meet in Japan in nine months, the fan meet tour brought in over 10,000 fans from all over Japan who came to see their favorite hallyu star in person.
Sporting a slightly longer hairstyle, Lee Joon Gi took to each stage amid loud cheers and applause from fans as he greeted his fans in Japanese.
At each fan meet, Lee Joon Gi took time to discuss his recent activities and also shared on some behind stories from shooting his recent drama, Arang and the Magistrate.
Lee Joon Gi also took to the stage as a singer as he performed some of his new songs, which he had practiced for over 10 hours a day.
At his final fan meet, Lee Joon Gi shared, “Thanks to the fans’ passion and presence, I was able to complete everything in this cold weather. I’m thankful [the fans] send their love and encouragement even from far away. I’m planning on continuing to remain active abroad and I hope to meet fans again soon through a great production.”
The hallyu star returned to Korea on December 11 and will enjoy some time off before selecting his next work.
