SHINee and U-KISS’ New Singles Hit No.2 and 3 on the Oricon

SHINee and U-KISS have both seen their respective new single albums debut within the Oricon chart’s top three.

Both groups dropped their new single albums on December 12 in Japan. SHINee’s sixth Japanese single, 1000 Years, Continue to be Next to Me sold 22,954 copies on its first day while U-KISS’s Distance… sold 22,033 enabling SHINee to squeak out a win over U-KISS on the Oricon daily singles chart.

Further down at number eight was Orange Caramel’s second Japanese single album, Lipstick/Ramu’s Love Song, making three K-Pop acts debuting in the Oricon daily singles chart’s top ten.

Over in both the daily DVD compilation and daily DVD music charts, SHINee’s December 12-released concert DVD, SHINee The First Japan Arena Tour “SHINee World 2012” placed first.
