Park Min Woo is All Smiles for ‘Vogue Girl’
Rookie actor Park Min Woo made his acting debut in tvN’s Cool Guys, Hot Ramen, and now he’s taking on the pages of Vogue Girl.
The 23-year-old actor, who played trouble maker high school student Kim Ba Wool in the popular romantic comedy drama, turned on the cute for the photo spread. His messy hairstyle and dimples successfully showcase his boyish charm in one of the cuts, while the whimsical styling of a red kilt layered over denim in another look calls attention to his modelesque frame.
In the interview, Park, who unsurprisingly dabbled in modeling, revealed why he chose acting instead, stating, “I think the biggest problem was my lack of confidence. And you have to make yourself stand out in modeling, but I don’t think it’s a profession that matches my personality. I prefer being around other people and the method of working together.”
When asked how similar he is to his onscreen character Ba Wool, the actor said, “About 60 to 70 percent. Being pure hearted is about 50 percent of that.” He continued, “Not having ill feelings towards other. Although Ba Wool gets angry at Chi Soo (Jung Il Woo), it’s not ill will.”
The actor also opened up about his childhood, revealing that he used to be overweight and that he used to bully his classmates.
More of Park’s interview can be found in the January issue of the magazine on newsstands now.
