MTV Iggy wrote that “there’s a post-hip hop/singer-songwriter vibe throughout,” and remarked that the album’s English track Dear TV “is a spare, envelope-pushing standout,” but that “the whole album consists of that kind of reflective, solid material.”

Fever’s End has previously gathered praise from many Korean musicians as well, as Kim Tae Won, Lee Juk and Yoon Do Hyun have showed their approval of the album.

Its songs have appeared on the charts of many global and domestic music sites, topping the iTunes hip-hop chart in Canada, coming in second on the Billboard World Albums chart and also sweeping charts in Korea, proving Tablo’s solo debut has been a success.

The Best Beginnings: 2011 in 20 Debut Albums were chosen from many other renowned albums released this year from around the world.
