The global concert M-Live MO.A in Vietnam took place on November 24.

A day before the event that celebrated 20 years of relations between Korea and Vietnam, the participating singers spoke up at the press conference and emphasized the need to continue the ties between the two countries.

Wonder Girls′ Sun especially showed she knew where the K-Pop boom was coming from.

"These days people share cultures through a variety of ways such as YouTube. It′s become easier for people to share their talents, and this brought them to care not only for the music from their own countries, but those from other countries," she said to a question asking where she thought her group′s success came from.

Thu Minh, the Vietnamese diva known in her country as ′Vietnam′s Celine Dion′, also had her own thoughts about the growth of K-Pop.

"Korea is the place of the ′Miracle of Hangang′, which affected its industries, economy and technology, so its determination to develop its cultural industry also is very high compared to other countries. Only such cultural exchanges like MO.A for the 20th anniversary of ties between the countries will help them become true 20 year friends," she said.

Thu Minh is known to be a big fan of Rain and Wonder Girls.

The singers spoke this day in front of more than 45 media outlets from Vietnam.

One official said, "It′s the first time Ho Chi Minh has hosted a concert that has brought in so many K-Pop artists and local stars. It′s rare to have a concert planned in Korea be held in Vietnam, when usually Korean singers are invited to sing at Vietnamese events. The press conference took place for a short time, but we were surprised at [Sun and Thu Minh′s] specific answers and their profound views on K-Pop. Such exchanges will be the main factor that moves relations between Korea and Vietnam."

MO.A (Most Amazing) is the Asian version of CJ E&M′s global concert brand M-Live, and is a global collaboration K-Pop concert in which artists from six of the biggest agencies in Korea participate in each.
