Rookie female vocal group, Eye To Eye, who′s been toted as the female Brown Eyed Soul, will be taking part in a project led by legendary rock band Sanulim’s former leader Kim Chang Wan.

The vocal group guested on the radio show hosted by Kim, SBS’ Beautiful Morning with Kim Chang Wan on December 7, and performed Sanulim’s masterpiece, Old Memory Might Come Across My Mind While Looking Over the Window along with guitarist Park Ju Won.

After they sang the song, Kim praised them for their outstanding vocal power, and offered the group the opportunity to feature on his upcoming project album, Reborn Sanulim. The group accepted, and on December 14, recorded the track in the same manner they had performed it on the radio show, with the help of Park Ju Won.

Reborn Sanulim is a tribute album, and top musicians, including Crying Nut, 10cm, Woongsan, Bada, Galaxy Express, Ali, Hageum and Ggotbyeol have already joined the project. So far, eight songs have been released, and a few more teams will join in before the album is completed.

Narae from Eye To Eye told enews on December 16, “I was so nervous and honored to sing in front of Kim Chang Wan who I’ve admired so much since my childhood. Moreover, we’ll join the Reborn Sanulim project! We thank him and we’ll do our best not to cause any trouble.”

Eye To Eye has been earning praise, if not widespread popularity, thanks to the members′ powerful vocals and the group′s refined style since its debut in the summer. The group sang One Sweet Day with the legendary Boyz II Men at the American group’s concert held in Korea on November 27.

Eye to Eye has been currently promoting its single Trembling.
