U-Kiss’ Japan debut single Tick Tack hit the no. 3 spot of the Oricon Chart, proving that though the group may be struggling slightly in Korea, the boys are beloved overseas.

The single made the top 5 on the day of its release, December 14, while the special limited edition of the single also sold out completely on the same day, leaving those who didn′t manage to get the single shouting for more.

The release event, which took place at Tower Records in Sibuya, Tokyo, gathered hundreds of fans, and the group plans to tour Japan with a high-five event (where the members literally high-five fans) to make even more fans fall for their charms.

A rep from U-Kiss’ agency, NH Media, told enews on December 15, “The limited edition of U-Kiss’ single sold out on the first day, proving the group has made a successful debut in Japan. Japanese fans who haven’t been able to get the single are trying their best to find ways to get it.”

U-Kiss’ Japan debut took place through Avex, one of Japan’s famed agencies, and officials aren’t hiding their surprise at the explosive reactions.

The rep revealed, “The U-Kiss members are preparing for their future activities with a light heart despite their hard-core schedules in Korea and Japan. They’re working all the more harder to repay their fans for their love.”

U-Kiss plans to release its second single and studio album in February 2012, followed by a national tour in March.
