TVXQ Sets Sail on Global Tour with a Successful Concert in Seoul
TVXQ (DBSK) performed in its first concert of its world tour among 25,000 fans in Seoul.
On November 18, TVXQ held its TVXQ! Live World Tour Catch Me in Seoul′s Olympic Park. The concert was the group′s first exclusive concert in four years, and kicked off its global tour to follow.
The members showed off a string of colorful performances that proved the group was indeed legendary. The 3D mapping techniques used onstage made the stage even more splendid, and perfected the group′s performances. The group even used magic lifts, cranes and moving cars to get even closer to its fans in the audience.
After starting off with Rising Sun, the members continued to explode outward with energy as if to make up for the long time they had stayed quiet. The string of hits such as Get A Way, O Jung Ban Hap and Hey! that followed was enough to draw passionate cheers and applause from the crowd.
TVXQ even performed for the first time its next promotional single Humanoids.
U-Know Yunho said, "I′m sorry to have made you wait for a long four years. We′ll work hard to make this concert one we can enjoy with our fans."
To live up to this promise, the group not only bust out its moves with its dance pieces, but also showed off other charms through a ballad medley. The members then released a few photos of the group in everyday life, and talked about them with their fans.
The members performed in their own solo performances, as well as TVXQ′s hits Like a Soap, Wrong Number, Before U Go, I Don′t Know, Catch Me, Mirotic, Keep Your Head Down and Dream.
Over 20 media outlets from around the world flew in to report on the concert this day. Such Korean stars as actress Moon Chae Won and actor Kang Dong Ho were also present.
