Park Si Yeon, Ahn Sung Ki Joins Morgan Freeman’s Hollywood Movie, ‘The Last Knights’
Park Si Yeon and Ahn Sung Ki are joining the likes of Clive Owen and Morgan Freeman and making their entry into Hollywood.
I-Yagi Entertainment revealed on November 19, Park Si Yeon, who just successfully completed her KBS drama, Nice Guy, had joined the cast of the joint Korean-American movie, The Last Knights.
The upcoming movie is the first Hollywood movie being produced by Big Global Contents, a movie investment group created in 2011 by Korean movie business insiders with the goal of producing Hollywood movies.
Helmed by Japanese director Kazuaki Kiriya the movie stars Clive Owen as the brave general Rayden, who loyally serves his lord Bartok (Morgan Freeman).
Park Si Yeon plays Hana, the wife of the villain of the movie, who led a harsh life nearly all her life but displays moments of compassion while keeping her place. Ahn Sung Ki has also been cast in a yet unspecified role.
Park Si Yeon will travel to the Czech Republic, where the movie is currently being filmed, in early December.
Park Si Yeon shared, “I’m honored and anxious to be cast in this production. While working with the excellent staff and actors, I will strive to learn more and to produce a great work.”
The Last Knights is targeting a North American release sometime towards the end of 2013.
