Total Views for ′Superstar K4′ Videos on Official Platforms Surpass 100 Million
The views for Mnet Superstar K4-related videos on the web have shot past 100 million in total.
On November 14, Mnet announced that "the Superstar K4 video clips uploaded on the official channels in Tving Online Web, Tving Air, Naver, YouTube and Mnet.com have gathered more than 100 million views."
A total of 970 videos, including overlaps, have been uploaded onto the five official platforms so far.
The most popular video of them all is the video of Jung Joon Young and Roy Kim singing Becoming Dust during Super Week. On YouTube it gathered 2.25 million views, on Tving 1.12 million views, on Tving Air 2.71 million and on Mnet.com 840,000. The most popular video on Naver, on the other hand, is that of Yoo Seung Woo′s performance of 4Men′s Hello, which gathered 1.63 million views.
Those of Yoo Seung Woo′s My Son, Yeon Kyu Sung and Hong Dae Gwang′s Jasmine Flower, Kim Jung Hwan′s I′ll Be There and Jung Joon Young′s Emergency Room have all surpassed 1 million views each on Naver. On YouTube, the performance of Gangnam Style featuring Yoo Seung Woo and Jung Joon Young has reached that mark with 1.33 million.
On Tving, Yoo Seung Woo′s performance of Seok Bong and Jung Joon Young′s performance of What Should I Say are close to reaching the 1 million mark.
Hwang Geum San, director at Mnet, said, "The number of people who don′t care for watching the program on time has increased. They consume Superstar K through platforms other than TV, at times comfortable for them. This phenomenon will spread even more as the N-screen environment settles down more quickly."
On the upcoming November 16 broadcast of Superstar K4, DickPunks, Roy Kim and Jung Joon Young will battle it out to decide which two teams will go on to the final round. The episode will also feature a Super Ceremony, which brings in the issue-makers of the season to perform.
The final round will be held on November 23 in Jamsil.
