Kim Chang Wan will be the next musical guest to appear on tvN’s Saturday Night Live Korea.

The former vocalist of rock group Sanullim, who is currently active in Kim Chang Wan Band, is expected to put on an easy-listening, fantasy-like performance that showcases a different kind of charm from Dynamic Duo’s exciting hip hop performance last week.

Kim’s appearance as the musical guest on SNL Korea was confirmed through a comical promo spread, heightening viewers’ interest in the upcoming episode.

In one promo poster, Kim is seen smiling brightly while holding an umbrella and standing on one leg. Another funny poster features Kim choking a cute teddy bear.

Netizens reacted to the promos with interest, saying “Maybe he’s not just performing, but hosting the show as well and participating in the sketches.”

“I think it’s going to be even more exciting and fun because it’s live,” said Kim. “Anticipate a great show as I’m preparing a new kind of performance that is well-suited for the atmosphere of a satirical comedy program like SNL Korea.”

SNL Korea is the Korean version of popular American program Saturday Night Live, a show that has been broadcast on NBC for 37 years.

Actor Kim Ju Hyuk appeared on the first episode, delivering laughs with an extreme makeover, and Gong Hyung Jin has been confirmed as the host for the upcoming episode.
