2PM Embarks on First Japanese Arena Tour

2PM embarked on its first Japanese arena tour titled, Republic of 2PM on December 5, starting with Osaka.

Japanese online news outlet, Oricon Style, reported on December 6 that 2PM started its arena tour with the concert at Osaka.

100,000 tickets to the group’s nine tours across six cities were sold out within one minute since going on sale.

The group opened the Osaka concert with its hit songs like Hot and Hands Up, along with splendid performances amid enthusiastic responses from 10,000 audience members. Wooyoung and Junsu spoke in the Osaka dialect, saying, “It’s been a while since we′ve felt like this.”

The two-hour long concert continued with the group’s hit songs, including title tracks from its three singles, which were released in Japan and ranked in the top 4 of Oricon chart, Take Off, I’m Your Man, and Ultra Lover and Even If We’re Being Separated, the song Junsu wrote to dedicate to fans.

Meanwhile, 2PM’s concert at Budokan, Tokyo, to be held on December 21, will air live simultaneously at 38 movie theaters and live concert halls nationwide.
