As the one who made burning hearts and mustaches popular, Shinhwa’s Eric revealed that cheesy lines in his drama were the easy part.

On November 4’s broadcast of jTBC’s Shinhwa Broadcast, the Shinhwa members discussed their previous acting experiences, including Eric’s popular MBC dramaFirebird.

“Even after eight years, Eric’s quote is still popular,” said Shin Hye Sung, referring to Eric’s cheesy “Do you smell something burning? My heart is burning right now” line from the drama that has managed to survive well into 2012.

"But there was something harder than the cheesy lines,” shared Eric.

“There was a scene where we were supposed to dance in front of the car’s headlights. I was supposed do a classy and gentle dance, but at the time, I only knew break dancing. I didn’t know what to do and the director started yelling at me, so I just did whatever and ended up dancing something like the samba.”

“And that’s how the samba was born,” said Eric, referring to his famous samba dances. He then went onto reenact the situation.
