During the press conference, the cast was asked about any predictions on the drama’s ratings.

“I think the first episode will reach 36.5 percent,” said Kim Dong Wan confidently. “I said 36.5 percent because I was thinking about 365 days in a year. But if the drama reaches 40 percent, I will pick one viewer and prepare his or her breakfast, lunch, and dinner, like housekeeper Kim Tae Pyung-style!”

Choi Jung Yoon, who is Kim Dong Wan’s co-star, also boldly said she believe the drama will exceed 30 percent on the first episode.

Cheer Up, Mr. Kim is about a bachelor who ends up raising four children, not related by blood, while working odd jobs to support his adopted family.

It was premiere on November 5.
