Comedienne Shin Bora Asks Song Joong Ki If He’s a Beggar
It was only a year ago when comedienne Shin Bora was dying of happiness to have Song Joong Ki as her younger boyfriend during a skit on KBS’ Gag Concert, but times have changed and so have her feelings.
During the skit ‘Brave People,’ which aired on October 28, Shin Bora targeted Song Joong Ki, the star of the moment who plays Maru on KBS’ Nice Guy.
The comedienne said to Song Joong Ki, “I heard that your movie is coming out soon, so I looked up the reviews. Perfect transformation, detailed acting – This movie is the rediscovery of Song Joong Ki.”
“So with my expectations heightened, I looked up a picture and are you playing a beggar this time?”
She held up a photo from Song Joong Ki’s upcoming movie, A Werewolf Boy, where the flower boy actor appears disheveled with dirty clothes and hair.
To make the joke funnier, she then parodied comedian Heo Kyung Hwan’s currently popular skit, ‘A Beggar’s Dignity,’ and said, “Are you curious? If you’re curious, then 500 won. If you’re brave enough, 700 won.”
After seeing Shin Bora’s comedic skit, viewers commented, “I hope Song Joong Ki comes out on ‘A Beggar’s Dignity,’” “He’s still pretty awesome” and “There are no beggars like him in this world.”
A Werewolf Boy premieres on October 31, just in time for Halloween.
