Lee Je Hoon Says He′ll Return as a Stronger Actor after He Serves His Duties
Lee Je Hoon appeared at his last official schedule before his military enlistment.
On October 23, Lee Je Hoon attended the press day event for the 3D animation film Rise of the Guardians, marking his last public appearance before his enlistment on October 25.
Lee Je Hoon said, "There′s less than 48 hours left until my enlistment, but I can′t believe it because I′ve been working every single day before. Tomorrow I have one more schedule to get through, too. I think I′ll start to believe when I shave my hair."
He added, "I′m happy that I′ll be enlisting after leaving behind my pieces. I′ll do my best. I′ll look back on myself after entering the army and return as a stronger and more mature actor."
Lee Je Hoon lent his voice to Jack Frost, the ice fairy in the animation. This day the Santa Claus North′s Ryu Seung Ryong, Pitch′s Lee Jong Hyuk and E.Aster Bunnymund′s Yoo Hae Jin were all present.
Ryu Seung Ryong said, "It′s not 48 hours, but 43 hours. I hope you leave with a sound mind."
Lee Jong Hyuk and Yoo Hae Jin also wished him well, saying, "Health is the most important thing."
Even as his enlistment continued to creep closer, Lee Je Hoon has continued to swallow a killer schedule. Since the end of last year he′s filmed for the movies Ghost Sweepers, Architecture 101, The Ethics of Anger and My Pavarotti. He has also starred in the drama Fashion King, scoring a total of five pieces this year. Actors usually take up an average of two pieces a year.
He said about his hard schedule, "I was determined to be in many pieces, so that′s why I set up such a hardcore schedule. I was stubborn."
He finished, "While I′m in the army I′ll miss my mother′s cooking."
On October 25 Lee Je Hoon will enter the Nonsan training camp and receive his basic training. In the next 21 months he′ll serve as a conscripted policeman.
Rise of the Guardians is an animation about how fairies wage war over children′s dreams. It will premiere in November.
