Japanese Actor Sato Takeru is Friends with FT Island’s Lee Hong Gi
Japanese actor Sato Takeru, who recently paid a visit to Korea for the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) for popular manga-turned-feature film Rurouni Kenshin, also sat down with Elle Girl magazine,
The actor is styled in a number of fall pieces for the spread, including a black leather jacket and overcoat.
When asked if the actor is friends with any Korean stars during the interview, Sato Takeru mentioned FT Island’s Lee Hong Gi before adding about his impression of Korea, “I’ve been to Korea twice for personal reasons, and I remember the diverse Korean foods I tried.
The actor even entertained the staff with his own interpretation of Psy’s Gangnam Style horse dance, further affirming his interest in Korea.
Sato Takeru,, who stars as Kenshin in the film, said of his role, “I thought that if I didn’t bring the role of Kenshin to life in an awesome way, it would be the end of my acting career,” before adding that the film was the most meaningful piece for him as an actor.
