Eun Jung Misses out on Press Conference for ‘Queen Insoo’
T-ara’s Eun Jung, one of the stars of JTBC’s upcoming drama, Queen Insoo, missed out on a press conference for the drama, held on November 24 in Seoul, due to her promotional activities in Japan.
A representative of Eun Jung’s agency Core Contents Media told enews over the phone, “Eun Jung could not attend the press conference for her drama because she is staying in Japan due to T-ara’s activities in the country.”
The rep continued, “T-ara’s promotional activities for its second album had been already scheduled before the filming of Queen Insoo kicked off, so she could not make it. She said it was such a shame that she was not able to attend it because her attachment to the drama is strong.”
Eun Jung will be acting as the young Queen Insoo, an ambitious woman who gets involved in tricky court politics on her ascent to the throne. Eun Jung will appear from the first episode to the 20th episode.
The drama Queen Insoo will feature a power struggle among three women of royal family, Queen Insoo, Queen Junghee and deposed Queen Yoon. Chae Si Ra will be playing the adult role of Queen Insoo for the second time, as she played the role of the queen in KBS1’s King and Queen 10 years ago. The drama will premiere on December 3.
