The weather in Seoul has begun to take a crisp turn, and we can’t think of a better way to warm up to the cool fall season than with a night of live jazz music—indoors, of course.

Following the Match Up event to celebrate its grand opening at the IFC Mall in Yeoido last month, bar and live music venue M PUB will be inviting jazz artists from around the world onto its stage this weekend for four days of smooth grooves.

If the VerbalJint-Beenzino Match Up event was for the ladies, Fourplay: International Jazz Nights is for the couples out there who want to enjoy an unpretentious, laidback night of mouthwatering eats and lively jazz music.

M PUB doesn’t discriminate, however, as those who categorize themselves as single or the ever-ambiguous two who say they’re “just friends” are, of course, welcome as well for the “4 Days of Mellow Grooves, Friends and Lovers.”

M PUB will host four different international jazz acts, each with their own unique sounds, every night from October 11 to 14 at 9 p.m. KST.

Korea’s own Pudditorium will kick off the weekend early, taking the stage on Thursday night with Brazilian singer-songwriter Fabio Cadore to fill the night with his soft pop jazz.

The Barnicle Bill Trio from the Netherlands is set to take over on Friday night, before handing the baton off to Stryjo from Poland and the Diego Figueiredo Trio from Brazil on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, for the four-day jazz music marathon.

If you’re in the city, head on over to M PUB, located in the food court of the new IFC Mall in Seoul’s Yeoido Station, this weekend to keep warm and get your jazz fix!

And for more information on future gigs, be sure to check out M PUB′s Facebook page.
