T-ara Holds Successful Showcase in Malaysia after Getting Stuck at the Airport
T-ara got stuck at an airport in Malaysia for 30 minutes because of its fans.
According to the group′s agency, T-ara flew to Malaysia on October 2 for its showcase in the country. After the group arrived, however, the girls were unable to leave the airport for about 30 minutes due to the hot welcome they received from the 2,500 fans gathered there. They later barely made it out of the airport with the help of airport staff.
A rep from the agency said, "Although T-ara arrived in the Malaysia airport at night, many fans swarmed to the area, taking the staff by surprise."
On the next day, October 3, T-ara held its showcase in a hall located in Kuala Lumpur.
It sold out all 4,300 tickets for the showcase, just as it had for the Hong Kong showcase that took place previously.
The group will next fly to Thailand to perform at the Mnet M Countdown Smile Thailand special on October 4.
T-ara has a full schedule up until early 2013, with showcases in many Asian countries such as Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia. From late 2013, it will next expand its ventures from showcases to full length concerts.
