Wonder Girls Tops Billboard′s K-Pop Chart

Despite a year and a half hiatus, Wonder Girls claimed the top spot of the Billboard K-Pop chart, sweeping domestic online and offline music charts.

According to Billboard, the group’s title song Be My Baby grabbed the no.1 spot on the K-pop chart on November 18 (local time), proving its popularity not only domestically, but internationally as well.

In addition, the group proved that it has still got it, as other songs from its second album were ranked within the top 50: The Beauty ranked 17th, followed by Girls Girls (18th) and GNO (22nd), while Act Cool ranked 47th, and Stop was placed on the 49th spot.

The group’s album grabbed the fifth spot on the Billboard World Album Chart.

A representative of its agency, JYP Entertainment told enews on November 19, “We are so happy and thankful that foreign fans showed support for the Wonder Girls, and their love for the group led to good results. We’ll continue to make an effort to bring about good news to please fans that support Wonder Girls at home and abroad.”
