4minute Nam Ji Hyun’s Rice Pizza

Ingredients:

Onions
Bell peppers
Spam
Cheese topping
Rice

We first caught a glimpse of Nam Ji Hyun’s cooking skills on the MT special of QTV’s 4minute’s Travel Maker, where the girls hosted fellow girl group SISTAR at their getaway home.

Nam Ji Hyun cooked up her signature rice pizza, which is essentially a classic fried rice dish but with a twist, sir fried with pizza toppings like bell peppers, onions and cheese.

As soon as the camera zoomed in on the stir-fried goodness, our mouths began to water, but the best part was that it looked easy enough for us to whip up in minutes.

IU’s Potato Soup

Ingredients:

Potatoes
Milk
Cheese slice
Salt
Butter

Nothing says comfort food like cheese and potatoes, and the guests on KBS’ Happy Together 3 as well as viewers cozied up to IU’s simple, yet delicious potato soup recipe.

After buttering the pan, toss the chopped potatoes in the pan. Then add enough milk to cover the potatoes. After bringing the milk to a boil, sprinkle in some salt, top it off with some cheese, and wa-la!

It may sound like a heart attack in a bowl, but from the looks of it, we’d probably die happy.

SISTAR Dasom’s ‘Dasom Noodles’

Ingredients:

Udon noodles
Glass noodles
Soy sauce

We know idol stars are incredibly busy, so it’s no wonder Dasom’s no-fuss noodles was a winner on KBS’ Happy Together 3.

After boiling the udon noodles and glass noodles in water, simply fry the noodles in soy sauce.

Dasom said she has been making the dish for her friends since fifth grade. If it’s easy enough for a fifth grader to not mess up and enjoy, it has to be dummy proof and delicious.

2AM Changmin’s Sweet Pumpkin Brown Rice Risotto

Ingredients:

Pumpkin
Olive oil
Onion
Milk
Cooked brown rice
Vegetable stock
Cottage cheese

If the previous recipes seem a little juvenile for your refined palate, let us introduce you to Changmin’s sweet pumpkin brown rice risotto.

As fancy as it sounds, the recipe requires a little more TLC in the kitchen, but it’s guaranteed to impress at the dinner table.

First, cut the pumpkin in half, scrape out the seeds and brush with olive oil. Stick the pumpkin into the oven for 15 minutes at 180 degrees C.

While the pumpkin is cooking, chop the onion into sizeable chunks. Once the pumpkin is cooked, scrape out the insides and puree, adding some milk along the way.

Fry the chopped onion in a pan and add the cooked brown rice. Add about a tablespoon of vegetable stock then mix in the pumpkin puree. If the dish is a little bland, add some cottage cheese.

Changmin once hosted his own cooking show on O’live TV’s Food Essay, where the 2AM member, who is known to be a health nut, shared some of his favorite diet-friendly recipes.

Kangta’s King Oyster Mushroom Lasagna

Ingredients:

Asparagus
King oyster mushrooms
Olive oil
Lasagna sheets
Cream sauce
Tomato sauce
Cheese topping

We’re taking it up another notch with former H,O.T. member Kangta’s king oyster mushroom lasagna recipe, which was featured on O’live TV’s Kangta’s Pasta e Basta.

He prepared the dish especially for Girls’ Generation (SNSD) unit group Taetiseo, so we expect the taste to be top-notch.

Peel and chop the asparagus into penne pasta-sized pieces and lightly fry in olive oil, then salt and pepper to taste and set aside. Chop the mushrooms.

Kangta made the lasagna from scratch, but store-bought lasagna should suffice.

Brush the bottom of the dish with some olive oil and place the first layer of lasagna down. Spread the tomato sauce and top with the chopped asparagus, mushroom and cheese topping.

Add the next layer of lasagna, spread with cream sauces this time and add the vegetables and cheese. Repeat with the tomato sauce for the third layer. Cook for 30 minutes.

See Kangta whip up the dish for the girls in the clip below!
