The Secret Members Talk of How They Felt about Sunhwa′s Popularity
The Secret members opened up on how they felt in the time when Han Sunhwa was the most popular of them all.
The September 24 broadcast of Mnet′s The Beatles Code 2 invited Secret and UV to talk.
Tak Jae Hoon mentioned, "In the beginning Sunhwa was the one who got all the attention," and asked the other members how they had felt about Sunhwa′s solo variety ventures.
Jeon Hyosung answered, "Since we were all rookies, we all wanted to gain attention, and mostly we were jealous. After we tried variety, however, we learned how hard a time Sunhwa would′ve had. We′re thankful that she helped the group become more known through variety before it became bigger with a hit song."
Tak Jae Hoon, however, seemed to be looking for a different answer, asking again, "Wasn′t there any jealousy among you?" Jeon Hyosung emphasized again, "Now, we don′t. We were jealous of how Sunhwa was so pretty, and we were thankful."
Song Jieun caught on, and added, "If we say we didn′t feel jealous at all, we′d be lying. I thought I could do well in variety too, and wondered why we never got the chance."
Zinger said, "I feel it. No one recognizes me when I′m alone, but when I′m with Sunhwa it′s different. I once got on a taxi after Sunhwa had sent me off, and the driver asked me, ′Isn′t that Sunhwa? Are you close with her?′ when I′m in the same group...."
