There was a reason why Jung Eun Ji was able to put on such a convincing childbirth scene.

A Pink′s Jung Eun Ji rose to stardom through the tvN drama Reply 1997, which aired its last episode on September 18. Her acting drew many favorable reviews thanks to her Busan dialect as well as her ability to act in a romance.

The childbirth scene in the last episode, in which she acted as if she was in labor, especially made issues for its realistic delivery. Despite her being an idol, she pulled off perfectly a scene in which she had to act as if she was giving birth.

What was her secret? Jung Eun Ji opened up on how she was able to do it on the September 24 broadcast of YTN′s News 12 - Issues and People.

"I spent a lot of time with my mother from when I was little," she said. "I watched a lot of documentaries on childbirth."

Her little brother, who is eight years younger than her, also helped her out with his presence.

Jung Eun Ji said, "I′ve watched many such childbirth scenes with my mother. My brother is eight years younger than me, and so I think that helped me get used to childbirth scenes too."

Infinite′s Hoya, Jung Eun Ji′s fellow cast member on Reply 1997, also appeared on the show to talk about the drama.
