In 2009 Uee made her first drama appearance as the child role of Go Hyun Jung′s Mishil in the MBC drama Queen Seon Deok. She then appeared as the antagonist in SBS′ You′re Beautiful, and last year even won the rookie award at the KBS Drama Awards and Paeksang Arts Awards for her acting in KBS2′s Ojakgyo Brothers.

In Woochi, Uee will act as Hong Mu Yeon, the princess of Yuldo who is loved by the lead Jeon Woochi.

Woochi will be a fusion period piece based on the novel of the same title. It has currently cast Uee, Cha Tae Hyun, Lee Hee Jun, Sung Dong Il and Cho Ha Rang.

Its first episode will air on November 21 following the conclusion of Nice Guy.
