Could it be that Park Myung Soo (of all people) may have had his own-created fashion and design copied?

Recently on an online community board, one netizen posted a comparison photo titled, ‘Park Myung Soo’s fashions sense may need to be reassessed.’

The post included pictures from a 2009 broadcast of MBC’s Infinity Challenge in which the cast members, including Park Myung Soo, partook in a Project Runway special.

In the special, the cast members were given free reign to design, create and have their outfit evaluated by professionals in the fashion industry.

Park Myung Soo would eventually model his look after sharks, (yes, as in the aquatic creatures) who started out with a grandiose production but would eventually result to the heavy use of Styrofoam and tape as time ran out for the dealine of the outfit′s creation.

However, fast forward to August 7 this year, at the Altaroma Altamoda Fall/Winter 2012-13 Fashion show in Rome, where one of the outfits designed by global designer Gianni Molaro, showed a similar design with the familiar silver and black colored shark jacket.

Netizens commented on the photos saying, “Wow, Park Myung Soo should try his hand at designing”, “I had goosebumps” and “Isn’t this plagiarism?”

Watch the video from the fashion show for yourself to judge and see, with the shark outfit in question appearing at around the 6:48 mark.

What do you readers think? Eerie coincidence or a crime in fashion?
