The phone of an unsuspecting individual has been ringing nonstop since his number was broadcast on national television. The producers of MBC sitcom High Kick: The Short Legs Strike Back have found themselves in some hot water since it aired an uncensored phone number.

On the November 2 episode of the sitcom, Jung Jae Hyung is seen giving Yun Yu Seon his phone number scribbled on a piece of paper. It turns out, however, that the number, which was not censored out for the broadcast, is a live phone number that belongs to an actual person.

The victim tweeted Jung Jae Hyung the message, “It may seem like a lie, but the phone number aired on the broadcast is unfortunately a number that I use. It’s inconceivable for me to even turn my phone on since yesterday’s broadcast of High Kick.”

He then demanded, “Please ask someone from High Kick to post an official notice on the message board.”

In response to this, Jung wrote, “I will tell them. On behalf of the producers, I am sorry.”

Netizens reacted to the incident saying, “There really are people who call,” “The producers made a mistake. They should have checked it beforehand” and “It must be really hard. He can’t even answer important phone calls.”
