CN Blue Covered by Fuji TV
CN Blue held a live concert in Yomiuri Land, Japan on October 23, and Fuji TV’s Mezamashi aired the coverage along with interviews with the group on October 27.
The venue of the event, which was held to mark the release of the group’s debut album, was packed with 14,000 fans. The group, who worked in Japan for more than two years as an indie band, was moved by the swarming audience and said “At our first live concert, there were three audience members.”
The fans who attended the concert praised the group, by saying, “I got the impression that [CN Blue] has a band quality,"“They sing well. I fell in love with their music.” A fan said, “I like Japanese rock bands, and CN Blue has a lot in common.”
The members recalled the time when they worked as a street musicians. Jung Shin said, “We handed out leaflets to promote us.” Min Hyuk revealed a bewildered anecdote where they were locked up at police station, saying, “We held a street concert at a place where such events were banned because we didn’t know.”
Lastly, Yong Hwa revealed their resolution, “We want to be a band that will challenge the completion with live performance.”
On this day, CN Blue showcased live performance of six songs including three new songs from its album In My Head along with talk shows.
