Gong Hyo Jin is best known for her superb acting skills (have you seen the girl cry?) and her sometimes questionable, but always fashionable clothing choices, but who knew the girl could (actually) sing?

After starring as a former idol in MBC′s The Greatest Love, no one expected Gong to take the singing thing seriously, but evidently, the temptress that is music came calling.

Gong recently featured on a duet with singer/songwriter MY Q, a good friend of hers, which was released on October 31 as a preview for his upcoming album.

An official who was at the recording booth on the day the song, Seems Like I Love You, was recorded praised Gong, saying, “She has a voice that expresses the sadness of the song well. I wouldn’t be surprised if she debuted as a ‘national treasure’ singer. Thanks to her, the recording ended successfully.”

Gong Hyo Jin said, “I was happy to be participating in MY Q’s album, but I’m so happy to hear from around me that the recording was successful. I worked hard so that I wouldn’t be a nuisance, and I hope my fans like it.”

Seems Like I Love You is a song with a 70s old-pop feel, and rather than great vocal technique, emphasizes Gong Hyo Jin’s and MY Q’s fantastic harmony.

The rest of the songs from MY Q’s fourth studio album Ready for the World will be released on November 8 through various music websites.
