Regarding the topic of Hwa Young and her allegedly being made an outcast, Hyo Min began tearing as she said, “Just as much as this is a happy time with my seniors, with Woo Hyun and with the director and our writers who all put so much into this drama, today is a day where that all comes to fruitation and I would like to request you only ask about the drama.”

Hyo Min has been one of the T-ara members accused of making former T-ara member Hwa Young an outcast. Following T-ara’s Japan concert, Hyo Min, Ham Eun Jung, Ji Yeon took to their SNS and cryptically seemed to refer to Hwa Young and fans have been requesting the truth behind the incident ever since.

In the end, Core Contents Media’s CEO, Kim Kwang Soo ended up terminating Hwa Young’s contract while continuing to deny any problems of outcasts in the group. Though the controversy that followed ended up temporarily halting T-ara’s activities as a group, the various individual members of the group who were already involving in various dramas have continued to remain active.

In One Thousandth Man, Hyo Min plays the former legendary nine-tailed fox monster, Gumiho, who has already consumed the livers of 1000 humans to have transformed into a beautiful and seductive woman.

The current Gumiho, Mi Jin (Kang Yea Won) is looking for her 1000th individual and to consume his or her liver to transform into a human. The sitcom tells the story of her and her family living among humans and the many humorous incidents that follows. The sitcom premieres on August 17.
